a study of the body

Darian joined me for some studio practice. I've always been very interested in anatomy and the human body so I wanted to explore that within photography as well. I found out later this kind of work is called 'Bodyscapes'. It was a nice challenge, as I had to compose my shots quite differently than I usually do. Getting him to hold and switch positions that, from far away, might not look very good. But those poses targeted and brought out the muscle detail that I wanted.
