Experimental work on my iPhone on a visit to The Leaf

After the Manitoba Aurora & Astronomy Facebook page said it was PANTS ON for lights I grabbed my camera and ran to Birds Hill. 

I was wholly unprepared for photographing these, with no tripod and only a vague idea what settings to use. It was a fun experience nonetheless to see the greens and pinks appear on my camera, when they were just white to the naked eye. 

Not my best work, but it's important to show the failures as well as the successes.
