Age: unknown, estimated at 100's of years old. Physical appearance is mid 20's.
Height: 7ft
Body: Slender, muscular.
Additional: Long horns protruding from forehead, curved. Horns are tipped with red.
Slender hands with pointed nails. Thick elf ears that jut horizontally outward.
Tattoos / Marks: Red line coming from middle of mouth, over bottom lip and to bottom of chin.

Skin: white as paper.
Eyes: Dark purple sclera and neon blue iris. Pupil is a few shades lighter than the blue, barely visible.
Hair: Fringe comes in between horns, as well as along the sides of his face. Hair has shorter layers on top that spike out. Rest of hair is kept in a large braid that reaches down to his toes. He is hardly ever seen without the braid in.
Personality: cool, sarcastic, sneaky. Has a short tempter. Cares only for himself, doesn't like humans, doesn't care for relationships. Not a fan of his position in the Abyss as the gatekeeper. Often looks bored, doesn't give a shit about who gets in or out. Would rather be killing monsters and exploring other worlds.
Job: Works as the Gatekeeper at the entrance to The Abyss. Controls who can enter and who can leave. The Abyss is the main city in Hell where all characters reside.
Outfit:: See references. Akuru has a very asian/fantasy inspired design. He wears plated shoulder armor, an "obi" layered with a long sash, as well as low hanging pants with accented layers, his hands and upper legs are bandaged with a purple material. He carries with him a long staff that is the same height as him, which has red and yellow fabric wrapped on opposing ends. He has a large keyring on one of his horns and narrow rectangular golden earrings. He wears yellow wooden 'geta' sandals, with very high, exaggerated teeth.

His outfit is up for artistic interpretation, as long as the same color pallet is used and there is still a keyring or keys used in his costume somehow. He must always have his body attributes (i.e. horns, markings, skin, eye & hair color) His clothing can take inspiration from the traditional male Yukata, Shogun Warriors, Ninja and Samurai. He is a guard, so some form of metal plating / armour would be appropriate. That said, he prefers to keep the clothing light to allow for movement.
